Botulinum toxins are popular, non-surgical injectables that relax muscles to reduce wrinkles and expression lines between the eyebrows and forehead and minimize crow’s feet. The treatment has been performed on other areas as well, including thick bands in the neck, jaw muscles for pain related to TMJ, excessive sweating, migraines, and gummy smiles. Skin will appear smoother and rejuvenated for a younger, natural appearance, lasting approximately 3 to 4 months.

Injecting botulinum toxin into muscles blocks the nerve signals that tell them to move, therefore not allowing them to contract. When this occurs, it helps to diminish unwanted facial lines or wrinkles. Botulinum toxin type A injections are commonly offered under the names Botox®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau®.

Forehead

Scowl lines

Otherwise known as the 11’s, the area between the brows.

Crows feet

The lines around the outside corners of our eyes, especially seen when smiling.

Bunny lines

Those small lines when we scrunch up our nose.

Brow lift

By relaxing the muscles around the brows we can give the brows a slight lift.

Platysmas

These are the vertical muscles running down your neck, sometimes called the “turkey neck.”

Dimpled chin

We can inject the chin and erase the look of dimpled or “orange peel” skin.

Lip lines/lip flip

We can reduce the fine lines around the mouth or give the lip a slightly fuller appearance for a more natural, plump look.

Hyperhidrosis

Botox can help reduce excessive sweating under the arms, palms, and the soles of the feet. Botox blocks the nerve impulses that cause the sweat glands to activate. When the nerves are blocked, the sweat glands can’t produce sweat.

Masseter (TMJ)

These muscles can cause teeth clenching and grinding. By injecting this area we can relax the muscle and relieve pain. This injection can also help the jaw line appear slimmer.
